Meeting the Creators: A highlight of the Fair
Every year during Nueva Book Fair & Literacy Week, we welcome a diverse group of award-winning and engaging authors and author/illustrators to meet our students and share their stories and their craft.
Students hear authors read from their work, and engage in age-appropriate discussions about where ideas come from and about the writing, editing, and artistic process. Most importantly, they can ask their burning questions!
After several years of virtual-only visits, last year we were excited to invite these guests back into our classrooms again. Stay tuned for announcements of this year’s visiting authors, for students in all divisions.
