Important information about book orders

In a perfect world, we’d be handing over your new books as soon as you hit that “checkout” button. But due to our necessary pivot to an online fair, book orders will be processed a bit differently this year. We know that like us you’re eager to start reading, so we appreciate your patience!

We will be hosting a contactless, rolling pickup at the Hillsborough campus the first two weekends in December, in time for the season of giving — whether you’re gifting the book to yourself or someone else. Look for detailed information in your December Grade Lead email.

I purchased an eGift Card for someone. What happens to the funds if they don't use the total value of the card?

Thank you for your generosity! eGift Card sales end on November 11 — two days before the online bookstore closes — to allow time for recipients to use the funds. Any funds left unused at the end of the fair will go toward supporting literacy programs at Nueva, benefitting everyone!

Can I cancel or return an order after I've paid?

Unfortunately, we are not able offer refunds or accept book returns. Please do reach out if you have any questions about this policy.

I don't have a PayPal account. How can I pay for my purchases?

Not a problem! PayPal allows you to pay using a credit card even if you don’t have a PayPal account. Click the “Proceed to PayPal” button in checkout, and follow the prompts.

Can people outside of the Nueva community order books from this site?

Because books will need to be picked up on the Hillsborough campus, we are asking that all book orders be from current members of the community. If you know someone that would like to support Nueva in this way, they can easily purchase a Book Fair eGift Card for a student or faculty/staff member from this site.
